  1. Hello, just reserved for my student but didn’t see a place to check for additional bag. If a student is bringing an instrument to check, is the additional luggage fee still needed? Thanks.

  2. Why can’t the bus go back on Saturday so the kids can get ready for classes onMonday vs. getting in late Sunday night?

    • We asked a few students how Shuttle Home ran in previous years and they always said it got back Sunday afternoon especially for 1 week breaks. I will talk to my team and see if we can get a survey of the students to see what they prefer, we are always willing to change things around in the students best interest!

  3. I share the same question as another posted, because we always wish the return trip was not the night before classes. . .would be preferable to a Sunday night rtn.

  4. Hello, in light of the adjustments to Oberlin’s schedule for break, is the shuttle still running and on the same day as originally planned? Our student still plans to take it if so. Thanks!

    • Heres the latest info for Shuttle U Home Spring break 2020

We know there are many rumors circulating around campus so we would like to clarify a few things.

Oberlin Shuttle U Home is still planning to depart Oberlin College on our originally scheduled times for both NYC and CHI on Saturday the 21st.

As of now Oberlin Shuttle U Home is still planning to return to Oberlin College on our originally scheduled times for both NYC and CHI on Sunday the 29th.

However, we spoke with the dean of students this afternoon and they are waiting until the 25th of March to make a final decision on shutting down campus. Our return to campus trip will depend on the colleges decision to do so. We will send out another email detailing all the info for the return trip once the college has made that decision.

Since we previously didn’t expect many students to bring a lot of luggage home for spring break we weren’t charging for extra bags. But since the news hit we are receiving many requests for extra bags and have created a option to pay for your extra bag due to highway safety regulations. You are allowed one backpack or carry-on bag and one suitcase or bag to go underneath the bus, any bag after that will be extra and you can purchase at the link below.

Since these shuttles are based on a passenger count, at this time we cannot offer any refunds for your tickets. However, we can try to sell your ticket last minute to those students on our waiting list and if successful we can refund you. To be added to our potential refund list please email us directly with your First, last name and ticket type. We will be trying this on a first come first serve basis.

Tickets are also still available for both cities you can purchase them at the links below.

We will continue to provide updates and if you have any specific questions you can call or email us directly at 216-322-4464 or Jpirapak@gmail.com.

Thank you to all for being patient and understanding, we are trying our best to get this situation dealt with and bring you home safe for spring break.
